Best tractor for the $? All three come in around $13K in my area w/FEL and box. This forum has really helped me reshape my original thinking - thanks.

What do you want to do with it?

How much property? How much work? Emphasis on grass cutting? Or what?

If you want answers that will help you, it would help if you provide more info about your needs...

7510

I saw someone post it here but I don't mind repeating it. The S-CUT (2210, 2230) are large lawn mowers that can do light tractor work. The 7510 class is a light tractor that can also do lawn mowing.

It sounds like you need a light tractor.

I was about to buy a 2210, which is a fine machine, but decided I needed a little more and bought my B2410. It's not that much bigger than the 2210, but it can handle more. I have more options for implements and attachments than with a subcut.

Now I just have to figure out how to sneek the new box blade into the garage without my wife figuring out I bought another implement.

I have had my B7610 for about 6 months. I use it on 3 acres. I love it. It can be a little hard on the yard, you have to be careful when you turn or you will damage the turf. If a perfect yard is your goal a BX2230 would be my choice. But if you can use the extra ability of the larger tractor the B7510 is a great choice. I love my B7610 and have never regretted the purchase. So I guess my vote would be the B7510. But, you really have to decide based on what will best fit your use.

Simply put, what is more important to you: lawn mowing or tractor work? If it is lawn mowing, I think you will be happy with a sub. If tractor work (FEL, box blade, etc.) is your primary use, get the B7510. Or be like Henro, and get one of each! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Not to complicate things but have you considered the MF GC2300? With the full Cat I 3PH it can handle any implement you want (with in reason with this size tractor), has the same engine power (22.5 vs 23 hp) power but improved PTO power and 3PH and bucket lifting ability. My father has a JD 2210 which he is happy with and I have a MF GC2300 which I am happy with. I paid 11800 for mine with bucket plus 300 for 48" box blade.

Just thought I'd throw this info out there.
