My dealer installed, not me, this 3 bag system today. After you level cutting deck....why does it say to lower the 2 right hand deck wheels 1 additional hole? Is this to support the weight of the Power Flow unit?
ALSO....in the book it says "install gage wheel adjuster pin" for the right rear deck wheel. What is diffence between original gage wheel adjuster pin, and the new pin?

Camillit:

I never noticed the note about lowering the two right wheels but the weight of the blower/boot might be the reason.

They never put on my 'special' rear right pin and it doesn't work well. The reason it's different is that the original pin can't be retracted - It will hit the belt guard on the blower. You can pull it back but you bend the guard and it'll unsnap and break.

So far, I haven't read much in the way about how well the MCS units actually work. Pretty much all I see is the problems associated with them, and they are all over the board. Makes me happy I settled with a mulching kit...

I've said this before in many posts and I'll say it again. Having the 2305 MCS I wouldn't buy one again and would sell mine in a heartbeat if I could find someone to buy it. It's so much of a Pain I haven't mounted or used it once yet this season. Leaves in the fall would motivate me to mount it but I'll use the Cyclone rake instead.

If all you do is mow the mounting thing wouldn't be so bad since you'd mount it and forget it but when it clogs it's a pain to clean out, etc.

I have a Cyclone rake, there are many units out there like this (DR, etc.) and it works much better and goes on and off easily. Yes, it's a trailer hanging off the back, yes it has a separate motor (which I'd prefer as I think the deck mounted ones clog a lot and are a pain, etc.).

My advice would be take the $1600 and buy a Cyclone rake or something like it.

I just used mine for the 2nd time...I think it is great. It is a shame you are in Vermont, I would have bought yours in a heartbeat.
