Backhoe jd300 backhoe

just got a jd300 and need help with changing filters and over all care.have a hard time finding the Right parts

Which filters? Where have you tried to get parts?

i go to a nappa store.i think there is a filter on the bottom side of the tranny i guess in need a service Manuel will help if i can find one

The transmission filter is underneath the transmission and takes the same element as the other filter which is the backhoe filter which is next to it and at a 90 degree angle...the problem I have is the filter does not have the right gasket...I called WIX and they do NOT have the right seal...you will have to find a big "O" ring that fits. Let me know if you find one and where to get one.

Oh yes, be careful replacing the filter...the canister is very heavy and the spring and cup make it really difficult to change. Practice makes perfect.
