That is interesting. They are probably all fine tractors. I know I sure like my orange beasty, and I'm sure that I would have liked a blue one had I gone that way. Maybe it is a color thing.... /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

I am going to finish up a deal this week, it looks like it will be a TC21D. The dealer opinions are interesting aren't they? I was recently in San Diego, and of course I took the wife to the tractor dealer in Escondido. They sold both NH, and Kubota, in fact they had every kubota model in stock!! Since I am in the car business, and I knew I wasn't going to buy a tractor in Ca., I told the salesman up front to avoid any confusion. He said they sell more Kubotas, but they felt the NH was a better built tractor, he then proceeded to show me the differences between the TC18/21, and the Kubota B7500. He said in the area most contractors who work their machines 8 hours a day, 6 days a week, bought the NH, while homeowners bought the Kubota. My self, it is a real toss up, with the only advantage of the TC21 of any real significance to me is position control.

Funny how it's different in different areas--2 dealers in my area who sell both blue and orange told me just the opposite. Most contractors buy orange, homeowners blue. Neither would recommend one over the other, though.

I should qualify the statement that it was in reference to the small 20HP units. The lack of position control limits the fine grading ability of the BX series, and the B7500. This person wasn't trying to sell me on either, since he knew I wasn't buying it from him. Since I am also in a similar business, I know he wasn't just feeding me a line either. I like everything about the B7500, except the lack of position control, and the fact that my preferred dealer does not have any!!
