I think the 9540 is a tick louder than the TN inside. Ride is more ruff I agree but with 3.5hrs on it I havent had a chance to get some air out of the tires. They have no bag on them what so ever so I think they are over inflated. I will check when I have time and let you know. The roof of the cab or inside the roof is lined with cloth just like the TN was, if I believe the JD was the same. The plastic in the JD I didnt care for. The 9540 is twice as smooth as the TN in operation. The A/C is alot better than the TN. Not colder I wouldnt say but the venting is alot better. Blowing up rather than blowing down on you. All of the TN vents are in the roof. The botas are around the front console. Also you can shut off the outside air with the push of a button, and use the inside air for max vent. I am pleased with moving some terds around this past weekend. Sorry for the discription but for lack of better words that is what they are. We pile them up behind each stall and move them with the tractor. The ground was saturated with the rain from Fay on Thursday but the 9540 just clicked right along moving some very wet muck never slipping with a full bucket. So wet here now I have a large pecan limb down but the pasture is way to wet to get on it. I just have to leave it until it drys so I dont leave big ruts.
