JD5420 tech manual

Hi guys, it’s been a while for me. I sold my 3320 and I’ve purchased a used 5420 model (1,200 hrs, no cab, 9x3 transmission) I’m excited for the upgrade. My question is this, I had the tech manual for my old tractor and it really came in handy (4 inches thick). I’m looking for the same one but for my 5420. As I look on the websites I see about 20 different manuals. I’m hoping for 1 all inclusive tech manual. Any help is appreciated!

You can get by with two. TM-2048 and TM-2049.
TM -2048 is repair ONLY
TM 2049 is diagnostic & wiring diagrams ONLY
If only buying one, I suggest TM 2049
If you were to have serious engine problems (which I doubt) get the 4.5L 4 cylinder engine TM. There are many to choose from based on emission control tier level.
