jd790 or TC 30 nh??? help me quickly

tomorrows the big day! (buying). Thanks for all the replies and any more would help, all the input is appreciated. The only problem I have with the deere that kinda bugs me is the seat won't go back far enough, I'm 6'. Has or does anyone know if I can just drill and remount it a couple inches back?

Yep, it's Monday- I'm going to get the JD today, unless someone has a post to prove otherwise soon. Thanks for the replies. Price wise for $16080.00 I'm getting the 790 with the new fel, 5Ft. rotary cutter, 9" post hole digger, filled R4 tires Thats by far the best deal Ive come up with in Wa., Or., and Idaho. How does this compare with other areas? 790 and FEL are 14,800.00 alone.

I did notice that no one mentioned that the TC30 is available with HST, while the 790 is not. Did you know this? Is the TC30 that you were looking at gear or HST?

I'm not trying to sell you the NH. All of the information that the others have provided has been good advice. But make sure that you're comparing apples to apples here so that you have the best comparison available. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

They are both manual 4wd. I am now having probs with the deere dealer. Says he cant give me the new loader at this price. Can only give the 419fel--- any thoughts? or is the 419 okay?

Not sure what the market is like in WA but I can say that in my neck of the woods thats a GREAT price. If I could have gotten that set up I would have run to the dealer.

I believe the 419 IS the new loader for the 790. My 790 has the 70 loader (older).

BTW, I'm 6'1" and do OK on the 790. As Garry mentioned, the NH is available in HST but if you want gears you'll be happy with the 790. I love mine /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

There is a new loader for the 790. It is the 300 i believe.
