You don't say whether it has MFWD or not. I bought a 1984 JD 950 about 3 years ago. It has MFWD, PS, 75 loader, and about 2000 hours. Good condition. I paid $8650 for it. Nice tractor for the price.

BB_TX Thanks for quick responce. I was looking at getting a NH33D but came across the 950. How do you like your 950? Do you have any specs for the 950 tracktors? I think it is 2wd with PS.

This Thread has some specs for the 950. I can provide a copy of detailed specs if you need them.

tractortips.com and tractordata.com both give basic specs on lots of tractors, including the 950.
I am quite happy with mine. Does everything I need. I think the MFWD (4x4) adds a lot to it's ability.
I run a 6' light duty rotary cutter behind it for pasture mowing and light brush clearing. That is right at the high end of what it can run. Works fine unless the grass is high and really green and heavy. Then I just slow down a little.

Thanks for the specs on the tractor. Do you know of any for the 3 point and 75 loader? I will post pic when I get some but from what I have been told this is very clean tractor.
Thanks.

Don't have any info on the 3pt or loader. I assume you are interested in lift ability? I have an operators manual but it is with my tractor about 30 miles away. I don't remember it giving any 3pt lift rating though.
If you are mechanically inclined and intend to maintain your tractor yourself, I would recommend you get an operators manual, parts manual, and shop manual. The 3 manuals will run a little over $100 if I remember correctly, but will save you that and more if you have to do any repairs. You can get those at your JD dealer or by calling an 800 number and having it mailed to you, which is what I did. Unfortunately I can't find that number. I am sure someone will jump in here with it though.

My owners manual did not specify 3pt capacity or hydraulic flow. The original product brochure does not have this info either. There is capacity info on the loader. I can look that up when I get home.

Loader lift is 900lbs. to full height. 3ph is a hair over 1,000lb.

Hydraulic flow is either 9-10 gpm. 50 series rigs are not real fast, but they are tough little boogers. The 1050 has put up with my use/abuse since '87 without any major hiccups.

My product brochure says 950 lb capacity for the 75 loader. No specs are given for the 3pt hitch.
