Hi Guys,
It's been a while since I had a project. I have no room to buy anymore tractors. I recently bought some big tires and rims and I just had to put them on something , ha,ha. Well my mind started spinning and I am going to convert the old grader project to a mini jeep project. Nothing fancy but just something for my grandson and I to play on. I will post progress pics as I go. jeep 1.JPG

The seats came in the mail yesterday . I made quite a bit of progress on the front grill so far. I still have to cut out the turn signal holes to make them recessed and flush with the metal.jeep 13.JPGjeep 14.JPGjeep 15.JPG

Todays progress shows the grader after I drove it in the shop. You can see a quick coat of paint slapped on it . I cut a section out of the front frame and moved the axle back to a 80" wheelbase to give it a more sporty look . With the bigger tires it makes it look a little like a mini monster Jeep, ha,ha. jeep 18.JPG

The Willy's flat fender works well and makes it a bit easier to shape/build. Looking really good!

Thanks , my grandson loves visiting grandpas house. Yes, the older flat fender made it easier to build from scratch. Todays progress pics show the grill painted yesterday and some steel tubing on the workbench for the rear bumpers and the roll bars. Nothing too heavy as I have to remember it is only powered by a ten horse wheelhorse tractor.jeep 21.JPG
