Just AMAZING!!!! Thanks for posting all the pictures. I really like seeing the cardboard mock ups and then the work in progress. You should have a TV show, it would be a lot better then all the ones on TV right now.
Thanks, I am sharing more pics this time than past projects. My grandson likes the cardboard parts. I had another fun day today in the shop and I'll share more pics tomorrow . I have made over 200 shop projects over the years. I could fill several episodes on a TV show , LOL
Todays pics show the front windshield frame and the rear bumper progress and the roll bar. Today I will finish the front frame fabrication and front bumper . Then it should be looking more like a mini Jeep from all angles. This is such a fun change to build.
This is so cool! I misunderstood your vision in the first few posts and thought you were building some weird marriage of a grader and a Jeep. I tuned in for entertainment's sake to see how that would look in the end. I'm happy to see that it is all Jeep and no grader. It looks great.
P.s. I also read your thread about the tool cart build and I'm in the initial phase of building something similar. I will use it for my mobile field service business and it will be powered by an electric motor.
In the picture of you standing next to it, it's a lot bigger then I realized!!!! Now I'm wondering how much difference there is in size between yours and an old WWII jeep?

Sorry, the first pic was misleading at the very early stage. I even was uncertain how exactly it would end up looking. It is smaller than the early Willys Jeep. This is 15" shorter wheelbase and about 24" narrower than the early Willys. It is even smaller than the Mahindra Jeep . I wanted to give the appearance of the tires would look larger and give a more beefy look . I love Jeeps !!, We have 5 vehicles to insure and get plates for every year , just can't get a 6th vehicle. So this little go cart jeep will satisfy me and I am getting the fun of creating it. My wife is so nice , we stopped and looked at a Jeep before I started this project and she said I could buy it. I just could not have 6 vehicles to insure, ha,ha. My grandson and I have fun on the Cub Cadet powered Gator and we even have fun on a old 12v Jeep I got in the neighbors trash.
