JIC fittings?

The only way to identify your connection with 100% certainty is to disassemble it. That said, the fittings do look like JIC from what you've shown us. Especially the second picture, which appears to a male fitting and flared tubing with a tube nut and sleeve.

Once you've taken the fittings apart, they should like the ones shown here:

The next step will be determining the correct size, which you can do by measuring the threads and comparing with the reference tables here:

Can anyone tell me by looking at the attached pictures if these are JIC fittings? They are both on our BX23. The first is where the hard lines change to the hoses for the curl cylinder. The second picture is where the hose goes into curl cylinder.

In case the subject ever comes up again I took the hose pictured in the original post off and took it to a hydraulic shop. They are 3/8" JIC fittings on a 1/4" hose. With this information I hope to get the hydraulic parts ordered for my grapple in the next couple of days.
