I just purchased a 2004 220 with 77 hrs from original owwner,it had a blown oring in pump,I bought rebuild kit and rebuilt pump, after it was rebuilt it worked fine power steering and 3ph.then I hooked it up to 5 foot finish mower and tried to use it,it would lift it but not hold it up,next thing I know there was a small leak around pump then it was puking from block breathing,it had pumped my hyd fluid into engine.
The org buyer was lifiting trees with it when he blew oring. So the question is whats up with it?

Sounds like two separate problems. Rear lift issue sounds like cylinder bypass. They sell a "rebuild kit" for that too, but it's little more than a big O-ring and a wiper or two. But up front - did you notice hydraulic fluid in the crankcase before or after you "rebuilt pump".

first 0f all thanks greg f0r p0sting,have read 0ther 0f y0ur p0st and y0u kn0w y0ur stuff,after taking pump apart I n0ticed the 0ring bl0wn inside pump and just replaced it,hydraulics w0rked f0r 3ph and p0wer steering w0rked well then suddenly puked 0il 0ut 0f breather,s0 cleaned filter under seat, new fluid and 0il and pump kit and here I am again at begining,and this is getting c0stly

Let me try t0 answer y0ur questi0n better,n0 it was n0t leaking fluid int0 crankcase until I repaired 0ring

Well if it blew a pump Oring while lifting an impliment, the relief valve in the 3PH control valve may be relieving at too great a pressure which causes the pump shaft seal to fail.

The relief on the 3PH loader valve is probably under a square headed plug on top of the valve body, and is a set of stacked washers that control pre-load on a spring. The one on my 284 was relieving in excess of 3000 PSI when delivered, which caused me to blow out loader control valve O-rings the first outing with a 5' brushhog installed... Used a pressure gauge attached to the quick connect outlet port on my tractor to remove the appropriate number of washers to get the relief pressure down to around 2500 PSI. 3PH not staying up is either valve leaking or blown seals on the 3PH lift piston.

just g0t back fr0m rem0ving guts fr0m QD,added en0ugh fluid t0 get lift up,3ph stayed up with me standing 0n it and I weigh 250lbs,n0 puking till I reved it and lifted it all the way up,I am thinking al0ng the lines y0u are,t00 much pressure building up,where is the relief valve y0u speak 0f?
s0rry ab0ut the zer0s insttead 0f 0's,my keyb0ard is br0ke:laughing:

on top of the 3PH control valve there should be what looks like a square headed pipe plug. IF you unscrew that, you should find washers and a spring, and all the way at the bottom the valve plug/stopper that the spring holds in place till bressure below pushes it up to let fluid relieve/bypass into the reservoir.

You will need a pressure gauge in the line between 3PH and pump to evaluate and adjust the relief on the 3PH. IF you have quick connects for a loader, you can get another set and a T fitting to put fairly easilly put a gauge into the circuit. If you have a female rear quick connect, that is also in the circuit, and can be used to measure 3PH lift pressure IF you close the speed reg valve in front of the seat(sends all the pressure to the rear QC port). My 284 has this port, so all I needed was a male QC and I screwed a gauge right into that.

thanks I will l00k at that in am,n0 I d0n't have l0ader but d0 have 1 rear QD 0n rear.I t00k pump 0ff and shaft seal l00ked 0k,it appears as th0ugh it is acting as pressure relief valve at present, will it need replaced?

It may, but you won't know that till you can put a gauge on it and actually measure the pressure it is being exposed to. It may indeed be getting way more than rated pressure and relieving, but you won't know if it will work untill you can see if it will hold normal system peak pressure. In my experience though, once a hydraulic seal or O-ring starts leaking, it is done. It could also be that the front pump case has a hairline crack and is deforming causing the leak under the high pressure...
