That's a pic of my keyswitch.

From left to right: "ST" is start without glow plug assist. Used when engine is warm. "OFF" is off. "ON" provides power to the accessories and the alternator excitation circuit. "H" means heat. Glow plugs only. "ST" is start with glow plug assist. Starter and glow plugs are both energized. (I never use this).
