I have been looking at the Jinma line of tractor for the past several months and plan to take a much closer look this weekend. The one common question that the sellers of this tractor in my area can not clearly answer is: will the 354 go slow enough to rottotill? For those of you that have considered either tractor, what was the biggest deciding factor for choosing the 284/354 over the other?

The creeper gear on the 254/284 is nice for rototilling providing speed as low as about 1/4mph at pto speed.

The Jinma 354 is going to be moving at about 1.2mph in low range 1st at pto speed. to my knowledge creeper is not available on the JM354, or the 254/284 with shuttle shift.

A Lenar 274-1 will go as low as .85mph without a creeper.

the KAMA TS354C can be ordered with creeper instead of shuttle shift. www.kamatractors.com

I would bet you are a long way from Knoxville Arkansas, but by end of next week, we should have examples of all of these for side by side comparison at ARTRAC www.artrac.com
