Hi all,

Just thought I would post a few pics of my Jinma 554, for those that might be interested. So here goes and hopefully they will work.

John,
Those are nice pics and a great looking tractor. It should have lots of power too. Post some pics of it working if you can.
How much is that loader rated for? (Lift in lbs)
Where did you buy it?

I am curious about the loader also. What brand is it? Seen the same pics on the CTOA site. Nice looking rig.

Cool! That's the factory self leveling loader. Looks like it has the 2006 dash. Tractor looks sweet... I like the look with the tires set at the wide stance... Mine hits the shore Sunday AM....

Hi Guys,

I have finally worked out how to resize the pictures - would you believe I already had it on my software and didn't know it - duh!

The FEL is a ZL-60 and so far has been good. It is a bit on the slow side and I think the next size up, CBS-E320 pump would do the trick. However for now I can work with it. I took the teeth off the bucket for snow removal but have now replaced them as there is also quite a bit of ice around and I thought they would help more.

The FEL I think, lifts around 1550 lbs, maybe more. I know it is 0.45 yds. which is a pretty good size. The control is a single joystick and has been fine up till now. The action is smooth and controlled - much better than the old one I have on my MF-65.

I don't know what year the dash is but it has what I wanted - seperate gauges.

I got a crated deal through CBP and it has turned out just fine. A few niggly little problems - all of which were sorted out quite easily. Some were electrical and a few mechanical. So far I am very happy with it, but time will tell.

Jim

Jim,
Sorry for the John ... I looked up your profile.
If you are interested in putting on one of those 320 hydraulic pumps, it is a snap ... a direct bolt on.
Here is a thread where I did that.
CBN-320E 4 Spline

It made a big difference in hydraulic performance on my Kama554.
Flyhiflylo, that is one sweet looking Jinma you're getting. I'll bet you're pretty excited to get it. I sure hope Loretta's 284 is in front of your 554!:)

I have owned several Kubota and John Deere tractors, but the Chinese tractors are so inexpensive I was thinking about getting a small one, 18 to 22 HP, just to see how well it performed. I would likely use it just for mowing.

The main concern I have is parts availability, not reliability. Last time I was in China they were using tractors for everything-and I mean everything imaginable. They have to be tough.

Any thoughts or input here would be appreciated.

Thanks.
