Backhoe jinma backhoe hydraulics

Hello Troy, I'm still struggling to get somebody to weld my backhoe. I have done some practicing with my never before used welder and I'm not very good. I had a go at the backhoe but quickly came to the conclusion I couldn't do it and was in danger of making a mess of it. Today I have been told that a heavy duty welder would be needed to weld the components which is bigger than the one I've got. Mine goes up to 145 amps and is just a basic domestic welder. Could you comment please. Would you have any photographs of your work you could send me to see how you did it? Another problem I have is that I cannot get the lower axis pin out to remove the cylinder so the welding will have to be done it situ!!!!

Thanks in anticipation
John

End of last year I decided to get the welder out and have a go. After practicing on scraps of metal and consulting many items I decided to have a go. See the result below. I was quite chuffed with the outcome and although I have not done a lot of work with the backhoe, it does appear to have done the trick.
Thanks to everyone your inputs.
