Hi all,
This is my first posting on this site. Great venue to share experiences about our big boy toys!
I just bought an assembled JM 284LE 2006 and so far I am very pleased with the little workhorse! The one thing I wasn't very impressed with was the paint job on the hood. I know the hood is made of plastic fiber making the paint surface uneven, but still I can see gross differences in the paint thickness and even marks from what seems to be hand brushed paint! Anyhow, I know this is pretty irrevelant for the overall value of the tractor, but I just wanted to share this with you to know if any other users have the same paint quality, or if I was just unlucky. Either way I am very pleased with the tractor
I am just curious to know if the paint is indeed like this for all the Jinmas with the new hood.
By the way, have you guys seen this site? Chinese Tractor Maintenance - Wikibooks, collection of open-content textbooks
It has some really neat stuff, and any of you more experienced guys can add/edit thing into it, using the tabs on top of each page.
Thanks!
G
