I dug my inground pool today and just about done when the backhoe started operating slow this is a full rpm as well, I was able to finish it out but then tried to used the FEL and i could not even get a full bucket of 3/8 stone to start backfiling. I stopped checked everything out, i thought it was too hot maybe i overworked it, temp gauge stayed in green entire time.

Cooling off, no leaks no kinks in the lines. i happen to have spare set of filters since i was working at home, i changed the suction filter and charge filter. no dirt, no milky fluid just the watery john deere fluid. I was done for the day anyway so ill try it in the morning.

next morning, fired it up and same thing. I cant even lift the FEL with empty bucket at idle, same with back hoe. I can get movement only at full rpms. foward and reverse work fine with plenty of power, power steering works fine at idle as well..

im thinking main implement pump is going bad, i only have 1200 hours on machine could this be possible. Ive been reading on here about the coupling? for this pump could get damaged, not sure what that means but im looking for help on what this could be

Get a hyd gauge and check your pressure.

Is your 3pt lever in neutral?

Hydraulics:
Type: open center
Capacity: 5.5 gal [20.8 L]
Pressure: 2250 psi [155.1 bar]
Valves: 2
Pump flow: 8.1 gpm [30.7 lpm]

Your hydrostatic and steering are not affected are they?

Look at all the valves and attachment controls to make sure all is in the proper position.

I will check the 3pt but there should be an electronic switch that cuts off the 3pt when the backhoe is on...

Yes the only thing affected is the fel and the hoe, I messed with all the positions of buttons while machine was running with no luck

talked to dealer and they had a pump in stock. Wife took a ride for me up there and grabbed it. About to start taking apart to replace the main implement pump on the front of the motor. Turns out they sold me the auxiliary pump which is next to the power steering pump on the driver side of the motor. My question is , what Exactly does this auxiliary pump run? I'm guessing it runs the front hydraulics for a grapple or auger or something like that?

Lva10240 is the part number I found on the pump I think is bad but can't find anything on it

Pumps are very expensive, a pressure test on your system would be my first step. If pressure is low i would bring your pump to a hydraulic shop to get tested on a test stand. At 1200 hrs on that machine the pump should be good. I had a 410c backhoe that had similar issues, turned out 2 broken springs on 2 of the pistons in the main pump. A piece of a spring made it in the destroke valve and got it stuck. I got lucky no scoring to the internals. I Put new springs and a gasket kit, got it tested and came out to 85% efficiency. Better than the 4500$ the local Deer dealer wanted for a new one. I had 7000 hrs on it.

There are three pump or pump sections on the 110. One is for power steering about 6 gpm, the main pump is about 12.2gpm and the aux pump is 4.1gpm. The main and aux pump are combined to provide a total flow of 16+ gpm to the back hoe. The aux pump also operates the rockshaft, so that you can switch between front and rear hydraulics with the main pump and still have the rockshaft available either way. With the hoe installed the aux pump flow is routed to the power beyond circuit and/or backhoe and bypasses the rockshaft. Point being that the only pump common to the fel and the backhoe is the main pump.

If you are going to attempt repairs you need to check the pressure as suggested first. Otherwise why post a thread only to ignore the advice offered?

Do you have a 6 or 7 function backhoe with the aux circuit on the dipper? If a 7 function are the pedals to operate it in the correct position for no flow?

Most gear pumps will wear slowly, so I would not expect them to make an abrupt change from normal flow to a dramatically reduced flow.

Having a similar problem with mine what was your final repair?
