Good evening all,
I got the old 1010 from the old homestead, she is really in bad shape. I figure I would get tires back on her so I can move her around the shop. One tire is completely rusted way, only the power bars that were on the rims are left. The other rim is rusted but could be used for a little while. This is a 1961, utility. It has, or had power rims, 11x24 everything I can find say it should have 12x28 on it, since I'm almost starting over with the rear wheels and the power rim are expensive, I'm not sure if I should replace them with what was there, or replace the hubs and go with the standard rims. Oh and one of the tires (rubbers), 12.4x24 is almost new.
I will take any opinions to help me know which way to go. I don't plan on doing a ground up restoration on it, it will be a daily worker.
Thanks dane.
