I am in need of a material bagger for my 1025r. I found a used JD bagger that has 3PH mounting as well as a couple bars for a different mounting setup. For this bagger to work for me I've got to keep the 3PH up but drop my mower deck to mow. Below are some pictures of the bagger. Any ideas on how to do this? Looks like I could put a bar of some sort through the top link mount so the arms hit it when the drop and it stays up? Anyone done this? Any better ideas?

Probably need the independent deck lift. That’s pricy though. May be a way to chain/tie your 3ph up to keep from dropping. Someone else has more experience than me. Good luck. My deck is at 3 and I only have to lower 3pt about halfway to bottom deck out or hit the stops. so it may be high enough if you don’t lower your rockshaft the entire way. I’ll do this to keep my quick hitch a little higher when mowing steep hills.

Use a system like these chains going to the top link mount like you mentioned.

Here is where I bought my stay chains:

Mower Deck Stabilizer Kit

Ranchex also sells stay chains.

The nice thing about these chains, it triangulates the 3pt so you have no swinging of the load.

Read the manual, there is a black knob under your seat raise the lift and screw it in to lock the lift in the raised position. It also regulates the speed of drop on the 3 point, the more out you screw it the faster it drops.

Will check chains allow the mower deck to lower as well as keeping the 3pt up?

I don’t think so, but the independent lift will.

Does it have a place for stationary brackets? This is how bagger works on my Kubota. You disconnect the adjustment arms from the 3 point and pin them to the stationary brackets.

Thanks for all the replies. I've learned an independent lift will be required or get something fab'd for the other mounts that it has. For anyone else that may be looking to keep the 3PH up and mower deck down if you stop the 3PH from dropping its attached to the mower lift so it stops that as well.

I assume they will, but before I order them, will these work on a Max 26 XLT? Thanks

Ok, after seeing the picture I see how it works. I could see it from my phone. Looks pretty universal. Thanks
