I just had to have my JD 1050 injection pump rebuilt, 3000 hours and it apparently was worn out. $668 later it was running like a top.

At a shop, needed all three barrels replaced, seals, etc. I’ll know better next time! Thanks,A little on the steep price to rebuild. Was this at a shop or dealer then? The Yanmar shop manual or the TM1192 JD shop manual or the ITSS-JD-47 Shop manual walks you thru it. Maybe $50 or so to rebuild. Better if you own an ultrasonic parts cleaner too!
I don't think $668 is bad for a shop rebuild.
They don't just disassemble and put back together with new parts and say "good enough". They will also put the injection pump on a test stand and make sure the pump is calibrated to deliver the fuel that is required for the application.
