Thanks

Sorry you are not getting any help with the 1207 mower questions. Frustrating, but not likely to have the right members on this compact utility tractor forum. Don't know of a site to recommend either.

I've had a 1207 for about twelve years, bought used from a dealer. Parts are readily available. The most expensive to replace are the conditioner rolls. If they're no good the mower isn't worth fixing. Check the grease in the gear boxes and the u-joints that power the rolls. The knife and a set of rock guards runs about $300, so their condition isn't crucial.

Thanks for the help. I bought the mower. The rollers are in good shape. All connections and u joints look tight. The seller said it was out of time. I dont know anything about these so I am trying to find out how to set the time. The decals are worn so that is no help. I have a owners manual ordered. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I am new to haying and I only have about 10-15 acres to cut. I wanted the equipment myself because it is hard to find anyone around here to cut it for me. They are busy with their own and other crops.

Thanks
Devin
