John Deere 2210 vs. Kubota 7610HSD

You are comparing a CUT to a S CUT.
To get a clear picture you need to compare a cut with a cut
or compare a s cut with a s cut.

The reason the bota is 2500 more is the fact that is a physically larger machine meant for a different application. To compare apples to apples and prices, You should be comparing the New Holland TZ22, The John Deere 2210 and the kubota 2230. These three tractors are what we call subcompact tractors. All about the same size with same sized tires, each within the same price range. Compare the three brands and be sure to look at the creature comforts if you are doing this one time.

Yes, the massey 2300 is another good machine to look at.

I bought the JD 2210 with the 62" MMM and 200cx FEL. It will be delivered tomorrow!

I looked at the NH, Kubota, Kioti, and JD as they are the only dealers close by. The NH TZ25 looked good in the sub class ( i liked the idea of 25hp) but the dealer wanted about $1,000 more than the JD 2210 and $2,000 more than the Kubota BX2230. I liked the 2210 best of the S-CUTs.

After riding the B7610 and various S-CUTS (BX2230, JD 2210, NH 25TZ), I think I'll get the lawn mowed faster on the smaller machine. As far as using the loader, I'm only going to be moving mulch, firewood and snow, so I didn't see the need for the bigger machine there either. Lastly, I have two teenage sons that will be using the machine and I felt a little better with them on a smaller machine.

OK now you have to come back and post pictures, and tell us what you like about it, and what you don't like about it and what modifications you did to it and . . .

Good choice! you will be impressed. Watch that them sons of yours don't scrape off the signal lights though.the hydraulic loader is very powerful so watch them kids IF you let them use it. For 4 acres and light landscaping, right machine.
