Ready to mulch some leaves and grass in NH - considering gator blades. Looking at Oregon G6 blades and wondering if anyone out there has some experience with these blades?? Overall I'm comparing them to stock JD blades or even a JD mulching kit. Any response on personal experience is appreciated. THANKS Steve

I run Gator Mulching Blades year round on our JD Z-820A Zero Turn. It really does a nice job chopping up oak leaves in the fall.

You will be pleased with them.

I have ran Oregon Gator blades on my 54" deck since 50 hours. (2305). I'm now at 260 hours and just put regular back on. Didn't realize how much better the standard cut. ( not just new blades). Also, I have a PV18 yard vac. From what I understand, gator blades just cause a low pressure in the center of the blade, causing items to be put back to the cutting edge for a second cut. Gator blades worked with the vac, but standard blades are also better at not causing clogs at the exit of deck. Hope this info is helpful.

That is pretty much the same experience I had over the years between standard and gator blades.
