John Deere 2305 and Michael 11

Howdy folks from the windy today Northwestern Washington state. I have been lurking for several years and finally decided to register and join in the fun. I have a 5 acre parcel outside Burlington Washington. I have a 7 year old JD 2305 with a FEL and backhoe and a 62 C mower deck as in my intro title and a 2 year old Kubota GR2120. Just joining up because I enjoy the simple ease of working on tractors.

Welcome to TBN.

I've been waiting for my JD2210 to wear out so I can upgrade. Thought I'd get a 2305. Well,,, now it's been replaced. The way things are going, by the time I wear out the 2210 these little tractors will be replaced by some techno invention!!!!

There is no way I am going to wear out my 2305. I just have not put that many hours on it in the last 7 years.. I have 225 hours on a tractor that should last 2-3000 hours before a rebuild. The only damage I have done to it was the hood lost a fight with a mailbox cross post. I just am going to pay over $600.00 for a new hood. I wait a few more years and find one in a salvage yard that is not dented.
