Hi,

I recently ordered and received an R&B Model 25 CDA dual axis inclinometer for my 2009 John Deere 2305 TLB. I live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada (CA), at the 2300' elevation, and the terrain up here is sloped to varying degrees in all directions.

I'm looking at mounting the inclinometer on top of the cowl, between the steering wheel and the fuel tank. At that location, it should be very easy for me to monitor, especially on slopes. I had hoped to be able to bolt it to the cowl, but that would require removing the cowling from the tractor, and that doesn't appear to be a simple task.

For now, it looks like I'll be using the optional mounting method, securing it to the cowl with the 3M super-duty foam tape. Has anyone else installed one of these safety devices on a 2305, and if so, did they mount it in a different location than I've chosen?
