Posthole Digger John Deere 3 Post hole Digger technical manual

Hello, I need a John deere No. 3 Post Hole Digger Technical/service manual. I pick an old one up and need help.

Issues:

1. I can't get the 12" auger off. I was able to get the shear bolt out and the set screw, but it is frozen on. Do you think I should just try to dig a hole and see if it breaks lose?

2. I cant get the PTO shaft off. I got the shear bolt out and the c-clip and can get it to move in but not out. I think I could use a puller but the ball joint doesnt look to come apart to access

3. Finally I need to replace the PTO seal.

If anyone has a service manual or any help with the above, I appreciate it.

eBay, for 14 bucks... John Deere No.3 Posthole Digger Operators Manual - ORIG | eBay

It has the original part number on the cover, but JD doesn't show that one available for download... sorry, no help here!

Yes, I actually already bought that from Ebay (for 10 bucks) Not much information in it. There is a couple other versions out there but before I spend more money, I thought I would try to ask for some free help. :thumbsup:
