DanM128,
I have a '10 3320 cab which is basically the 3033R with black chassis paint and fewer emission controls. I have a 59" blower and a 1100 foot driveway up in NH on a former ski mountain, we get a truck load of snow here and it goes as fast as the blower will throw it. The limitation of the ground speed with the 59 isn't the HP of the tractor, anything over 20HP would run it fine it's the fan stage is undersized for the width, also it has only 3 blades on the fan. Deere should look at adding 2 or 3 more fan blades and making the drum 2 or 3 inches deeper now that the smallest tractor that it fits on is the 3000 series.
If your debating tire choices, get the R3 turfs, they work really good with the loader and blower. You do need AC in the cab, even in NH that cab is like a green house if it's warmer than 70 out. On the other end of the spectrum, the heat is great when it's -15 and the wind is whipping the snow around. Get the air ride seat as well as the horn and backup alarm if you have people in the area you operate in, you can signal them easier with the horn and the backup alarm get's them to look. (I have found the dogs know what to do as well when either sounds, they picked up on that quicker then the kids did, kinda sad if you ask me)
Any questions, just ask,
Tom
Thanks for the good information. I agree with you on getting the R3's I have those now and plan on getting them on the new tractor. What is the height of your tractor to the top of cab? I have seen many varying heights depending on tires, etc. I am trying to see if I will fit in the garage.
Thanks again, Dan
