I have the higher end APC devices that provide filtered power on the output side. As long as the input voltage / frequency is within range, the UPS devices will "use it" to keep the batteries charged and provide clean power to your devices.
Be wary about other ways that bad power can enter your setup, tho... ALL of my computer equipment (including switches, routers, cable modem, etc) are on filtered power APC devices. My TVs, satellite equipment, movie players, DVD players, etc are also all on filtered power UPS devices. ANYTHING that has a path to my "protected" equipment has be to be at least surge protected or I don't connect it.
