john deere 3120

On a john deere 3120 with a 330x loader, purchased it used with 128 hrs and didn't a manual, do you check the hydralic / tranny fluid with the engine running and bucket / box blade lowered or engine off ?

Engine off, implements down, level ground.

I strongly suggest you buy at least the operator's manual for the 3120/3320/3520/3720.
