John Deere 4300
I'm looking at a 2005 JD 3520 (no cab), with about 360 hours. Appears to be fairly clean, with 300cx loader. $15.5k is the asking price.

My question is... 2005 was the first year for the 3520. Any issues with the first/early model 20 series tractors?
Price reasonable?

First addition anything is usually the best. A lot goes into engineering new design and often the best parts available are utilized. After time manufacturers start trying to save money to maximize profits and cheaper parts are used. I would not be afraid of this tractor at all.

I have a 3720 (not the first year) and bought it because it was the last year of a tier 3 engine. That sounds like a reasonable price. If you look at new, you have more EPA mandated additions that (in my opinion) only cause more problems.
