John Deere 3520 with Cab on Order

Clint:
Very nice tractor. I'm liking the iMatch.

I had my dealer install my 3rd SCV on my 4520. He put the label in a different place, and more importantly put the label flipped from what you have. The float symbol is at the opposite end.

Can anyone tell me which way is correct ?

Pete

Superb machine. I hope the cab isn't too high to get into the garage. I have to remember to lower the ROPS each time on my open station 3520.

On my 3520, the float position for the factory installed 3rd SCV is at the FRONT.

@soulasphil: Others agree, and everything I've seen is push away to the front to float. Dealer messed up. tnx for pix.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I have run my tractor about 3 hours. I am pleased with everything on the tractor except for the 3rd SCV, 3 point lift, and PTO selector controls. The assembly has a lot of loose play. The controls are extremely hard to push/pull when operating. I assume this will get better with time. Also, the depth adjustment knob could have been designed a little better. Has anyone else noticed this as a less than adequate design on the 3x20 cab series?
I did take time today to swap my rear wheels to the wider position. With the R4s, I only gained about 1 inch on each side but it was noticable. Still considering wheel extensions. The only thing left to do is purchase my cd/radio unit and install. Guess I'll tackle that project next weekend.

The cab on the 4x20 is the same cab, and yes that group of controls are loose. If you look down into the guts of it, it's bolted on tightly but something about how the handles interact with the control wires make it loose. I don't have a lot of hours using it, but it's sure seems like I'm muscle-memory learning around the slop. As far as how hard you have to push on them, it either evens out fairly quickly or again you get used to it.
I was working with the box blade for about 3 hours, constantly using the 3PH and it didn't take long before it was all going OK.

But, they are too loose.

Thanks for the info Pete. I was wondering if I was being over critical of the design. I'm accustomed to quality and I don't know if this is 100%.
