my back hoe hydralics respond as soon as u pull a lever, however forward & reverse movement of tractor takes about 7-10 seconds before it will move. since transmission & hoe have the same hydralics why does it take so long to move? does it winter & summer. Help.

Do you have two pumps, one for hyd attachments and one for the transmission?

I'm presume you have routinely serviced hyd filters & sump screen???????????? Reverser is operated from trans pump where the pressure is delayed to help preserve clutch disk from abrupt engagement. IIIRC there's a valve that can be adjusted to decrease clutch engagement time. Other hyd functions operate from frt hyd pump.
