Hi, I'm looking at purchasing either a used 4100 or a new 2025 and have a question on the loader. I know how easy the new ones are to remove, but not sure about the 410c style on the 4100,4110,etc.
I've looked all over the forums and the 'net looking for a video of the loader removal process and haven't had any luck.
Does anyone have one or can tell me how long the procedure is?
Thanks a lot.

:welcome: to TBN

If I recall correctly, it is about a 5 minute (max) job...
while on the tractor, lower the bucket to the ground so it lifts slightly on the front axle, then unlatch the latch connected to the front weight bar.

Then, move the joy stick to "lift" the loader which causes the loader frame to move to the ground, raising the rear frame off the stubs.. poor on the names, but after this, turn off the ignition and release pressure on the hydraulics by moving the joy stick in all positions.

Follow that be removing the four hyd. line connectors. Back away, all done removal.

Reverse to hookup..

Its not totally like the newer ones but its not hard at all. Many of the 4100 series 410 loaders were retrofitted with a lock mechanism on the front retainer bar that will have to be hand removed first...just a pin and clip no tools needed. Then you can release the bar latch from the seat position. Always make sure the front crossbar sits properly on top the tractor's frame assembly when reattaching.

Unloading on a firm level surface will aid immensely in refitting the loader to the tractor.

And sometimes but not always you may need to release expanded hydraulic fluid from the connectors to get them to reseat correctly. But that can happen with many different model tractors :D

Great, I was hoping it was almost as easy as the new model.
I did watch that same video this morning.
Yeah, I've had issues w/ getting all the hydraulic pressure relieved on my current mower.
Thanks a lot for the replies. Now just have to finish convincing the wife to pull the trigger!
