I have had a 4120 for (4) years now and it has not had any problems at all. I do have the powerreverser trans and R1 tires but otherwise set up just like yours. I dont have the telescoping lower links and that is one thing I would add if I did it again. Implement changes are tough without them due to the tight clearance on the pins and the weight of this tractor compared to my old Ford 8n. Even though the 4120 is the smallest of the series, there has never been an instant where I thought I could use more power, even operating a 6 ft mower in thick weeds and light brush. I use the tractor mainly for open field mowing and some plowing/discing in the spring so the e-hydro was not for me, but sounds good for your applications. The heavy duty /bucket / 400X loader has been great, although I dont put a ton of use on that compared to 3 pt work. I have actually used it to pull me out of mudholes on occassion while discing in the spring. How great it is to never have to worry about getting stuck, which used to happen to me 3-5 times a year until I got theis 4wd tractor, and it aint happened since (dont listen to the BS about just getting stuck deeper with 2wd). My spring planting gets done almost a month earlier on average since getting 4wd, and my fuel economy for tillage operations is up about 20%. I added a homade canopy to my tractor which in my opinion is superior to any aftermarket canopy or factory cab. I made it as large as I could so it really blocks the sun, and I made it light so it can come off easy to get into low doors, etc. It is very comfortable operating this tractor under the hot old summer sun when I do most of my field mowing thanks to that canopy.
