JD 4300 turn to start, no response, no cranking

Pedals not in start position (common problem). Just tweak the pedal positions.

A bit more description of problem, and sounds like dead battery, poor cable to battery connection, and maybe pedals not in neutral position.
What is recent history, such as when it ran last, and how long has it been that it has not started, or cranked over? Battery history?
