John Deere 4410

I just bought a used 4410 with 800 hrs and the ehydro. My neighbor has the same tractor, but mine is slower than his. There are no error codes flasing. I read about calibrating the sensors, and I will try that. Since there are no error codes, how do I erase the current calibration? Do I need to just unplug the connectors and cycle the key on to erase current calibration?

Can't answer the question, but am interested in the answer(s) you get.

Stop by the Deere dealer and ask that question. I'd expect them to be helpful and have an answer for you.

Another suggestion I have, would be to get the CD tech manual.

I have the tech manual. It shows the calibration and adjustment procedures.

Try turning OFF the LoadMatch switch. I know my eHydro 4610 goes faster with the switch off. I only use it when I'm using the bucket or moving dirt with the box blade.

After trying this, just make sure your neighbor's 4410 tires are the same rolling circumference as yours. Taller tires don't accelerate as quicker as shorter tires (Ag vs. R-4's, for example).

I just upgraded to R1's, but we did both have the same size R4's.

I tried the load match. Doesn't seem to make a difference wether it is on or off. Doesn't seem to affect any driving characteristics. I should try his to see if his changes wether it is on or off.

Should there be any noticeable differences if the oad match is on or off? Any way to test if it is working correctly?

Are you telling us you just got this tractor and already you are drag racing the other kid in the neighborhood!!!! Next thing you know you'll have chains hooked up to the draw bars for a tractor pull!

I have done the drive controller recalibration and would not recomend it. It was very frustrating for me and did not fix my problem. Mine needed a potentiometer calibrated.

DKs got it - turn off the load match, turn up the rpms and go man go.

I am also of the never recal a modern 4x series camp. lot easier to turn that switch.

Was at the Houston Live stock show last weekend - they have at least 5 4410s.
was walking looking at those babys thinking ....

how much trouble would I get in if I got on one and rode it up to out booth??
maybe act like I'm stopping to pick up trash every now and then
