can anyone tell me how to adjust steering brake band on left side? please

Under the seat, on the left side there is a "box" that should have about a 3 inch plug. Remove that plug and look down in the hole. You should see a ratcheting adjuster that looks a lot like an adjuster for drum brakes. Take a screw driver and give the wheel a few clicks of adjustment. That should do it.
