John Deere 500c - Dashboard Guages

I picked up a John Deer 500c several months back. She runs great, starts right up every time, hydraulics are strong with no leaks (once I replaced a few hoses). BUT I do have one issue:

The instrument panel on the machine is dead. Looks like someone shorted it out at some point and/or just cut everything out. Every cable is cut. Nothing works.

The only gauges I really wish I could revive are the oil pressure and temperature sensor, I can live without RPM, etc. I can't find out anything about this engine. Where the sensors go, how to get a replacement, etc.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is there an easy after-market solution? I really just want to know if the machine is suffering low oil pressure or overheating for some reason. Everything else I can live without.

and looks like oil pressure lines, wiring, as well as the temp gauge can be bought.

Look under model 500c and then the listing for Instrument panel and oil pressure gauge.

Yes, I've seen the actual parts. But I'm unfortunately in a situation where my local deal won't touch the 500c, and I have no existing wiring to work with. So the question is, for example, where does the thermostat probe even go on the engine? I have no clue and I can't find any schematics of even engine specifications / layout anywhere.

IIRC the engine temp sensor would be at the rear of engine cyl head & the oil sensor would be on RH rear of engine by crankcase vent tube.
