Bman .. you must be right about them being tanks ...I searched for the 3930 4X4 on the web and the darn things are as high or higher than JD5045/55's MFWD's ..either not many around/sold or one heck of a following

There are more than the 3930's to look at I just threw out one in a 50hp. Go to tractor data and look at New Holland / Ford. They were both the same until some time after 1998 when they sold out I believe, someone correct me if wrong, but I believe some models stayed unchanged a few extra years. Anyhow you can pull up various models and look at the specs on there. I'm in the Forestry business and the site prep guys that spray, plant, mow, etc... pretty much use all the older Ford & NH stuff.

The John Deere 5103, 5203, & 5303 is in those same specs also. Have some friends with some and they seem to take a beating and durable.
