Yesterday I decided to add some LED lights to the top of the ROPS on my 99 5410 open station. I tapped into the wires on the rear spotlight and ran wires up to the top for the LEDs so that they would come on when all the other lights came on. Everything was working fine until I went out to feed my cattle last night and I didn't have any lights at all on the switch. No hazards, dash, headlights...nothing but the turn signals work on the other switch. I checked all the fuses at the front of the console and they all look good. In the operators manual there is mention of a fusible link under the hood above the fuel filter. I didn't have a chance to check it last night and I'm at work today. Could this be my problem or have a really buggered something up?
The only other thing I did at the same time was I found 2 wires by the rear axle on the right side under the valves for the 3 point hit. They are connected by bullet connectors. One of the bullet connectors was broken so I repaired it. I thought these might be the wires for the fuel gauge because it hasn't been working. I disconnected the wire that I had just repaired but the lights still wouldn't work.
Thanks
Dave
