John Deere 6200 No Start, No crank

Nice work.(y) Man, isn't it nice to have a tractor that you don't need a laptop and software to repair?

That sounds like a real bargain to get the cylinders done.

In general, do you like that tractor? Do you find it's a pig on fuel?

I haven't formed an opinion on this tractor yet. Not sure how it is on fuel, but I suspected it would only sip it. I just bought it in January. It was advertised with 'transmission issues - stuck in gear'. I ended up way deeper into the transmission than I had hoped. It required some new gears, new synchronizers, new shift cables, a new shift fork, and complete new range shift side cover & shift shafts. And since there was moisture in the transmission fluid, I had to replace the clutch, brakes, and PTO clutch discs. The brake linings were completely delaminated, and the clutch fiber discs were loose and ready to let go. I was hoping it would make a good rake & tedder tractor. Time will tell. The 3 pt hitch, and the speedometer are the only two things still not working yet at this point. I'm not really a whiz with the electrical stuff .

Speedometer might be the ground speed sensor. You can swap the PTO speed sensor to test.
You might want to have a dealer pull codes for the 3pt hitch. Since override works, it's an electrical problem.
