John Deere 6420 Power Quad Power Reverser Problems

I have a john deere 6420 with a power quad transmission and left hand reverser. When I put in forward, it shows N and has a warning tone ( like when you put in park but the reverser is not in N), but it works fine in reverse. Transmission shifts fine.. any suggestions? Many thanks in advance!

If it works in reverse and not forward, there is either a problem with the reverser lever or a problem with forward solenoid or wiring to the solenoid. You really should get codes read to point you in the right direction.
