John Deere 650 180 deg coolant thermostat

I have JD 650 with OEM 160 deg thermostat and want to replace with 180 deg thermostat. Anyone have part numbers? I’ve searched but no luck. I know this has been before. Thanks to all

That's a Yanmar engine isn't it? I sort of remember that size Yanmar used a 190 degree thermostat.
I'm not sure I've ever seen anything under a 180 degree thermostat.
Anyway, with the JD 650 - or any of the early Yanmar built JDs - you will get a lot more info if you drop down to the Yanmar forum below here and ask there.

This link may interest you. Appears the part number for the 160 deg also fits your JD 650.

180 degree thermostat for X595

The parts diagram show the thermostat as "CH15536 Thermostat - THERMOSTAT (71 DEG. C)", which is a 160 degree F. thermostat. For various reasons I would like to put in a 180 degree F. thermostat. Does any know of a part number ... John Deere or otherwise ... that will work? Thanks, Arvid

Bring your old thermostat to your local parts store & try to match it up with one that’s close enough that you could modify size wise to fit.
I did that with my Ford 1720 & installed a 190 degree thermostat.
I had to reduce the OD a bit for it to fit. It’s been in there for 10+ years no issues.
