John Deere 655 broken seat switch

Thanks. I wish I had known about pulling the switch up earlier as it would have saved me a lot of trouble.

Unfortunately, the replacement part shipped by Deere now does not have that function. The third lead on the connector is stubbed out and the switch only operates when depressed. I have not been able to find a replacement part that matches the behavior of the original part.

Have you tried finding switch in salvage yard. Here is one link you might try. I haven't bought anything from a salvage place for my tractor yet but I plan on giving these guys a call for some parts in the future.

I would think you could find an original switch from a place like this.
