John Deere 770

I would like to know if a JD model 45 rear blade, 84 inches, is actually too much wiehgt for 1996 JD 770 tractor? I have concerns, but maybe I worry for nothing. Also the rear pto drop seems fast when it drops and the adjustment knob seems it is maxed out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
