So I dropped the oil pan and took a look around. looked like a small spoonful of metal in the bottom of the pan. The front main bearing was the one doing the knocking. Other main bearings had very little slop to them. Obviously the scoring on the connecting rod is an issue right? Other Connecting rods looked fine (to the human eye) It's impossible to know the condition of the crank without removing it completely right?? I know these photos don't help much but I did what I could. Any advice is very welcomed. how do I make my photos larger!?!?

Unfortunately That rod is damaged, it appears the bearing insert spun inside of the rod end - which didn't just damage the crank journal.
It (may) be possible to have it re sized but if they have to remove much material the pistons installed height will be lower and affect that cylinders compression ratio also it would be hard to trust the rod bearing inserts to be properly retained .

Probably better to also source a new rod and check its weight/ balance to the existing undamaged rods.

Hope this is helpful and good Luck,
