- john deere 855
I dropped the block and liners off at the machine shop. Hopefully he will be able to bore the cylinder liners in.
I've also thought about repowering this 1990 Deere 855 tractor with a slightly smaller Yanmar 3TNM72-APB. Claims 22hp instead of 24hp in the original engine. I can buy one of these new for $2500.
The flywheel has 6 holes to mount the plate that connects to it. The stock 855 had 8 holes in the plate. I figured I can drill 6 holes into the plate to match up with the new flywheel pattern.
I also looked online at new john deere tractors.
The 0% for 60 months and $1250-1750 discount sounds pretty good about now.
I don't know the models well but something with around 30-40hp.
