John Deere 870 weird sound

   / John Deere 870 weird sound #11
If the rpm rises under heavy load, the clutch is probably slipping. If there is a noise in there, it may be that the tractor was run or is running with the clutch out of adjustment, that is, no free play, which tends to make the throwout bearing run constantly, which it should not, and wears out the throw out bearing. So noise is likely the throwout bearing. Just an additional thought.
