I opened my latest issue of Modern Casting today and much to my surprise the feature article was on the John Deere Casting process and their innovations. They were rated Foundry of the Year for 2004. Modern Casting article - John Deere Metal Casting Process
As a John Deere owner with a keen interest in metal working I am about to sit down to enjoy the article but I wanted to post the link for all of you as well. You will need to hit the "next button" at the bottom of every page and the article is about 10 pages or so but mostly pictures.
I suspect that this link will only be valid for the month of August but if you would like to see the article after that, they are all archived on the Modern Casting website. Enjoy,
